Each individual is the expert on their own life, and I see my role as working with the individual to find what works best for them. I do this through a strengths-based and holistic approach that is based in understanding how an individual is impacted by: people in their life, institutions and communities they are a part of, and culture overall. In this way, I am able to provide individualized care to meet each person’s unique needs while recognizing that we function as part of a larger system. I do this through a variety of methods including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Talk Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Positive Psychology.
