During these stressful times, it can be difficult to find a person who is willing to hear you out about life’s challenges. I aim to provide that space for you. I focus on a strength-based approach, where we highlight many of your positive attributes and incorporate those into our therapeutic sessions. As your therapist, you can expect me to be empathetic to your feelings while being transparent and authentic with my input. My goal is to help you become the best version of yourself!
I am currently a Limited Licensed Professor Counselor (LLPC). I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Michigan State University before earning my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Siena Heights University.
I spent over three years working in the residential setting, working with preteens and adolescents on improving their behaviors, processing their past traumas, and teaching them the necessary life skills to be successful as they enter adulthood. While my focus has been with adolescents, my education and experiences within university settings, allow me to work with a variety of people, young, old, and in between. Popular topics addressed with my clients include stress management, mindfulness, and dealing with Anxiety and Depression. I use a variety of interventions and techniques in my sessions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (Including Trauma-Focused), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and developing appropriate coping skills.
